TODOS NOS HACEMOS ILUSIONES - WIR ALLE HABEN ILLUSIONEN

Ambato, a city in the Ecuadorian sierra. 17-year-old former street kid Vicente tries to change his vagabond life. He is helped by Catholic nun Madre Narciza who is the head of a social project in the city center. 19-year-old Miguel and his friends, a group of shoeshiners, try to escape their economic problems by playing folcloristic music. Narciza dedicates her life to those young people to offer them - maybe - a better future. The film wants to come close to those young men without looking at them from an outside point-of-view but showing them as human beings struggling for their dreams.
