FIGHTING SPIRITS

Wild spirits that have caused chaos and violence in 24 years of brutal conflict in Northern Uganda are finally being driven away by Acholi’s ancestral clan spirits. In her film, Barbara Meier shows some of the ritual activities as well as interviews with victims, healers and prophets narrating their experiences and recommendations for the society’s way back to normality.
