In Potosí führt die Suche nach Silber tausende Männer seit fast 500 Jahren in die Eingeweide des Cerro Rico, den "reichen Berg" Boliviens. Der Film begleitet drei Brüder der Cruz Familie, die täglich aus den majestätischen Anden in ihren kleinen Bergbauschacht hinabsteigen und, begleitet von der Angst, dass die Stollen jederzeit einstürzen könnten, ihrer gefährlichen Arbeit nachgehen. Reveka ist eine sinnliche Reise, die dem Alltag der Bergleute folgt und das Publikum mitnimmt auf die Suche nach den Geistern, die den Berg bewohnen.
 

Biographies

Benjamin Colaux was born in 1981 and graduated from the Institute des Arts de Diffusion in Belgium. He works with several production companies as a documentary director and editor. He also frequently exhibits his visual work as a photographer. Benjamin is currently working as a scriptwriter on a graphic novel, BLUE OF STRAW, and as a sound director for the theatre. He is also preparing his next feature documentary, AUSTRAL.

Christopher Yates (born in 1978) studied at the Institute des Arts de Diffusion in Belgium. He works as a director and editor on various projects. In 2009, he directed his first feature documentary, NOT HERE, a road-movie about the Belgian rock band Girls in Hawaii. The film was shown in theatres in Belgium and Paris, and has been broadcasted several times on Belgian television. Christopher just finished writing ENNEMI PUBLIC, the next TV series for the RTBF, due to air in 2016.
