Women and girls learn to box in Nairobi, Kenya while training the physical as well as mental strength. Often enough women are victims of crime, sexism and rape, thus, boxing then helps them to defend themselves. Boxgirls is a documentary about self-defence, empowerment and the overcoming of gender stereotypes both in sports and in society.
