Caught between job hunting, drugs, and My Little Pony, Betty lives with mother Wilma, daughter Jade and ten other roommates in a suburb of Colorado Springs surrounded by strip malls. Despite her indestructible nature, Betty is persistently tested by the realities of her everyday life: growing debts, a complex relationship, and the social expectations of being a young mother.

I LOVE YOU I MISS YOU I HOPE I SEE YOU BEFORE I DIE is a thoughtful, pensive, and trashy milieu study that portrays life on the fringes of society in the American West using a kaleidoscopic montage and grainy expressive visual aesthetics.
