India’s megacities are growing at a fast pace. Chennai is India’s 4th biggest city, and like other metropolises, a bustling place. In the course of city planning projects, the government constructed huge tube stations during recent years. They were supposed to be brought to life from shopping facilities, but nothing has happened until now. That’s why these now already declining giants seem quite frigid – in contrast to their surroundings. The filmmakers focus on little details and everyday occurrences at the Mandaiveli Railway Station. Therefore, the viewer must make up his own stories about this train station and its attendants.
