Kick off! When the match starts, Khalil turns from a refuge in need of protection to the confident captain supporting and guiding his rugby-team. The initiative „ROB – RUGBY OPENS BORDERS” helps unaccompanied underage refugees in Austria through sports and team spirit on their way to adult life and a new home. Over a span of two years we follow the team including volunteers, coaches and the players from all over the world- on and offside the rugby pitch. A film about stages in life, friendship and the integrative power of sports.
