One night, the inhabitants of a village in Corsica were surprised by a forest fire that entrapped them. A dramatic event that forever changed the course of the lives of the community and left its mark. Three inhabitants share their memories and look back on the event.

Through the emotional descriptions of those affected and the montage of current film footage and photos of past times, APRÈS LE ROUGE brings to life the drama of forest fires and the life-threatening nightmare to which they were exposed. A human experience that might become more frequent with the worsening climate crisis.
