Pedro works the night shift in empty construction sites. Guarding the lonely walls, he spends his working hours wandering around dark corridors accompanied by an old radio. At the end of his shift, he returns to his house at the periphery of the city, where his young son Juampi awaits him eagerly. Confronted with numerous uncertainties and unacknowledged by the world around him, the single parent Pedro tries to be present for his son.
With an intimate proximity of the camera and a well-balanced cut, Constructions shows us a heartbreaking father-son relationship, between the lonely nights of a father filled with worries about his son’s wellbeing and future and the daily expressions of joy between the two.

Biography
Fernando Martín Restelli was born in 1991 in Posadas, Misiones. He is an Argentinian filmmaker and producer. In 2016, he made the short film “Merodeo”, which received the Special Jury Prize at FICValdivia. His first feature “Constructions” (2018) had its World Premiere at IDFA First Appearance Competition. He is currently developing his second documentary feature film.
